Kathleen M. (Murphy) Bergin

Kathleen M. Bergin (Kathy), 65, of Secane, PA passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024.

Kathy was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne (Nancy) Murphy. A graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School and a member of St. Eugene parish, Kathy devoted her life to the love of her family and to the practice of her Catholic faith. She was beloved by all who knew her for her kindness, warmth, humility, sense of fun and humor, and for her genuine appreciation of God’s gifts, great and small. 

Kathy was the beloved wife of 47 years to John; devoted mother to Melissa (Kevin) McClory, John (Mary), and Jennifer (Laurencio); and precious Mom Mom to her four grandchildren, Liam, Marin, Cole, and Nadia. Kathy is also survived by her loving siblings, Joe Murphy, Rob Murphy, Donna DelGrosso, and Patricia Fee, and by many extended family members and friends. She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Joe and Nancy Murphy.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Thursday, April 4 at 6:00 pm at O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass, Friday, April 5 at 10:00 am at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 200 S. Oak Avenue, Primos, PA 19018. Interment will be at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield.
