Karl Joseph Frick, 70, of Hamburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Reading Hospital and Medical Center surrounded by his friends and family. He was the loving husband of Marlena (Ward) Frick.
Born in Camden, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Richard and Lois (Black) Frick. Karl graduated from Souderton High School and attended West Chester University.
Karl was a talented musician, most well-known for his gift on bass and organ, and played in a number of bands throughout his life. He was also a skilled electrical and software engineer with a sharp wit.
In addition to his wife, Marlena, Karl is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Frick, wife of Mogese Abbas, of Glasgow, Scotland; his son, Brian Frick, husband of Brittney, of Aroda, VA; his grandchildren: Blaire, Beaumont, and Benjamin Frick; his brothers Martin Frick (Kathleen) and Raymond Frick (Susan), and sister Greta Watkins (Michael).
Karl’s Celebration of Life will take place Sunday, September 1, 2024 at ed Rocks Listening Room in Bethlehem, PA from 2pm to 6pm
