Joyce Mellon Obituary
Joyce Ann (Dorrin) Mellon, age 75, of Ridley Park, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on May 5, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas Dorrin, Jr. and Nora (O'Brien) Redmond. Joyce was a long-time resident of Southwest Philadelphia before moving to Ridley Park and graduated from West Catholic Girls High School. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing to the oldies, going to the beach, her time spent working at Target, and laughing with loved ones.
Loving mother of Sean (Tina) Mellon, Joyce (Tom) Flynn, and Pat (Lindsay) Mellon. Cherished grandmother to Sean (Adriana), Lea, Tommy, Emily, Jessica, Daniel, Dylan, Luke, Paul, Noah, and Jonah. Great-Grandmother of Jax and Cooper. Longtime companion to Bob Matera. She is also survived by many cousins and countless friends.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Paul; her son, Joseph; and her sister, Joan.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Madeline Church, 110 Park St., Ridley Park, PA 19078, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
