Joseph Patrick Walker

Joseph Patrick Walker, 78, a long-time resident of Springfield, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Joseph was the son of the late Joseph and Jane Walker (nee Reardon) and was born in Chester, PA. He graduated from Archmere Academy and St. Joseph’s University.

He was a devout Catholic and a member of Holy Cross Church. He enjoyed family vacations at the Jersey Shore, attending his children’s many sporting events throughout the years, spending time with friends and family and cheering on the Eagles.   Most of all, Joe loved his family. He was so proud of his children and especially loved his grandchildren.  Their joy was his joy. 

Beloved husband of Viola; Loving Father to Kelly Fatica (Jack), Michael Walker (Rachel) and Katie Mason (Kieran); Cherished Grandfather to Jack Walker, Matthew Joseph, Luke Patrick, Stella, Lucy, Declan and Faye. Also survived by his siblings, Jane Walker, Margaret Mirarchi (Claudio) and Paul Walker. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and more.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Saturday, September 13, 2025 9:00AM Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064,and to his Funeral Mass, 10:30AM in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
