John J. Scattareggia

John J. Scattareggia "SCAT", 65 Of Clifton Heights (formerly of Media, PA and West Wildwood, NJ) passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023.

John was the son of the late Joseph and Rita (nee Massimiano) Scattareggia of Clifton Heights. He was a graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School in 1975.

After traveling the US and working in management for the food and beverage industry, he resided in West Wildwood and worked at Taj Mahal Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ. He enjoyed carpentry and used his talents to renovate his Jersey Shore home.  He later worked as an IT specialist for several companies before his most recent employment at Sir Lancelot Courier.

John enjoyed traveling, photography, music and was an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan. He spent time as a coach for his sons' soccer team when they were young. He was a proud father who loved watching his sons grow into talented musicians, always supporting their careers. He loved watching and listening to them play more than anything.  

John is survived by his two sons; Ian Scattareggia of Sharon Hill and Erik Scattareggia of Philadelphia, both formerly of Media, PA., and 3 sisters; Linda Russell (the late James) of Sharon Hill, PA. Susan Lolli (Richard) of Schwenksville, PA and Rita Kane (Michael) of Micco, FL. He is predeceased by his mother and father Joseph and Rita Scattareggia. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
