John Mancini, 81, of Clifton Heights, PA passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024.
John was the son of the late Ebe and Fernando Mancini of Rome, Italy. John was born and raised in Italy and moved to the states in the early 1960’s to start his career and family.
His life was marked by a deep dedication to his family and his Italian heritage.
In 1969, John married Anna Marie (Nancy) beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love, adventure and tradition. Together they raised four children: Lisa, Gianna, Fernando, and Nina. John took great pride in his 7 Grandchildren-Elisa, Brandon, Johnathon, Jeanne Lynn, Angelina, Gabriel and Giovanni and his Great Grand-daughter Miya. They all knew him as “Nono.” He is predeceased by his parents and brother (Peppino) and many other relatives who passed on before him. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and more.
Many of his fondest memories were shared around the dinner table laughing with family. John was an amazing cook and loved hosting family dinners every Sunday. He was known for his welcoming table. He cultivated a rich and full life surrounded by good friends and loved ones. John was the rock of his family providing nothing short of strength and continuous support. John worked for many years as a General Manager of a movie theatre which is where he grew his love for cinema. He loved day trips to Cow Town and Booths Corner. He always liked walking around and exploring new places. John surely didn’t mind an adventure.
John will be remembered as a loving Husband and Father who exemplified grace, strength and dedication. His legacy will live on in his family and all that had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a blessing.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Thursday, October 24, 2024 10am at O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to his Funeral Service 11am in the Funeral Home. Int. Private
