John Gryn, 67, of Prospect Park, PA passed away on May 29, 2024, surrounded by his family. John was a graduate of Springfield High School, a dedicated member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America for many years, and a loyal parishioner of St. Madeline’s.
John was the son of the late Henry A. and Mary R. (Scanlon) Gryn and was born in Darby, PA; Devoted Father of Anthony and Deanna Gryn, loving brother of Charles (Susan), Michael, Stephen, Joseph (Linda) and Paul (Julie). He is also survived by former spouse and mother to his children, Dawn Gryn, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John enjoyed the many summers spent in Ocean City New Jersey with his children, as well as his many trips to Ixtapa, Mexico that became a 2nd home in his retirement years. He enjoyed spending time by his pool in the summer, hosting many cookouts for his family and friends over the years. John will be deeply missed by the family and many friends.
