Joanne M. (Philbin) Maguire

Joanne M. {Philbin} Maguire, of Pocono Lake, Pa and formerly Milmont Park, Pa passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving sons on January 31, 2026 at the age of 81.

Joanne was the daughter of the late Stephen & Mary Philbin and was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 1, 1944 . She was a proud graduate of West Catholic High School and worked at Children's Hospital for many years.

Joanne was the dear "bride" of 50 years to the late Dan Maguire who passed in 2018.

Beloved Mom to Dan (Terri), Keith (Traci) and Kevin (Jen).  Cherished Mom Mom to Maura, Quinn (Nick), Danny, Keith (Lily), Ryan, Erin, Sean, Kyra and Aly.

Joanne loved spending time on the beach at Locust Lake with Dan and her many friends.  She also enjoyed many years in Redington Shores, Florida.  Her greatest joy was spending time with Dan, her sons and cheering on her nine grandchildren.

Joanne was known for her bright smile, blond hair, beautiful suntan and signature turtlenecks. “Joey” loved a good party, dancing and was a big fan of all Philly sports. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.  

Dan and Joanne are now together again in eternity❤️.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Thursday, February 5, 2026 9:30am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd., Media, PA and to her Funeral Mass 11am in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
