Joan McGlensey Obituary

Joan A. (Palmer) McGlensey, 92, of Broomall, PA passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025.

Joan was the daughter of the late George and Anna Palmer and was born in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from J.W. Hallahan Catholic High School for Girls. A devout Catholic, she was an active member of St. Cyril’s Parish for many years. Joan enjoyed visiting the shops on Long Lane, spending time with family and doting over her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Kohl’s shopper and loved to sing along to Toby Keith and Englebert Humperdink as she whipped up a pitcher of her world famous iced tea. 

Beloved wife of the late Thomas McGlensey; Loving Mother of James McGlensey; Cherished Grandmother of Kristen (Patrick) Sweeney and great grandmother of Reagan and Patrick Jr. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service Wed., March 26, 2025 11am O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
