Joan C. Dollymore , 92, of Ocean City, NJ passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025.
Joan was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Helen V. Beatty of Philadelphia. She was a 1951 graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls. She was a member of both St. Joseph Parish in Collingdale, and St. Damien Parish in Ocean City. "Chicken” was deeply devoted to her family, celebrating every milestone with love and joy. She savored a warm cup of tea, a bowl of Cheerios, and the timeless voice of Johnny Mathis on the karaoke machine. An avid golfer, she played countless rounds with her beloved husband, “Reds,” where she achieved the rare feat of not just one, but three holes-in-one. And she was always a winner when playing the slots at the Tropicana in Atlantic City.
Beloved Wife of Joseph (Reds); Loving Mother to Susan (David) Osciak and Joanne (Jeffrey) Quinn; Cherished Grandmother of Lauren (Christopher )Trachy; Maureen (Matthew) Kirsch; Michael (Kathryn) Osciak; Tracey (Christopher) Cicione; Molly Quinn; and Conor Quinn. Beloved Great Grandmother to Luke and Ryan Trachy; Maura, Isla, and Mary Kate Kirsch; Colin, Greta, and Audrey Osciak; and Ellery Cicione. She is predeceased by her siblings: Marie Allen Lehman, Helene Stewart Martin, and Charles Beatty. She is also survived by many beloved nephews and nieces.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Thursday, March 13, 2025 9:30am at St. Joseph's Church, 500 Woodlawn Avenue, Collingdale, PA 19023 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. in the Church. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
