Jerry Wayne North II, 51 of Havertown, PA passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle.
He is predeceased in death by his loving Wife Dawn(nee Fanning), his sister Gina Kapusniak (nee Gallone) and his Father Frank Gallone. He is survived by his loving children, Marina (Daniel), Jerry Wayne III, Cherished and adored “Papaw” to Giovanna and Leighton Lafferty. His mother Dorothy Gallone, his brothers Francis Gallone, Frederick Gallone (Shannon), Richard Fanning, and Thomas Kapusniak (Allison). His nephews Tommy and Cole Kapusniak, his nieces Dillon and Charlotte Gallone, Louise Kapusniak. He is also survived by his godfathers Edmund D’Ambrosio and Joseph Ingram, along with many cousins and friends.
Jerry was born in Doylestown, PA and raised in Lansdowne, PA before settling in Havertown, PA. He loved sports and grew up playing Ice Hockey for the Haverford Hawks and Upper Darby high school where he graduated from. He was an avid Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed being with his family, taking trips down the shore and anything that gave a good adrenaline rush. He became an Electrostatic painter for years, until his death.
He was truly one of a kind, many knew him as someone who would constantly make you laugh and have a good time. He will be missed terribly by all who had the lucky chance to cross his path.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Friday, February 14, 2025 1pm, O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064, and to his Funeral Service, 2pm in the Funeral Home. Int. Private.
