Jeffrey James "Jeff" Lurwick, 61, of Morton, PA passed away suddenly on June 11, 2021.
Jeff was born in Darby, PA to the late James M. Lurwick and Ellen F. (McGowen) Lurwick. He graduated from Ridley High School in 1978. He was a member of the Air Force serving as a security specialist at the Minot AFB, North Dakota and made lifelong friends while serving his country.
Jeff worked at Delaware County Memorial Hospital for 31 years as the Radiology Lead File Room Clerk. For the past 6 years, Jeff enjoyed working at Giant in both produce and the beer garden. He made many friends over the years. Jeff enjoyed many things in life, especially watching his favorite Philadelphia sports teams, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. Jeff was a devoted husband and father. Jeff was a member of the Covenant United Methodist Church softball team for many years. He bowled in several bowling leagues over the years.
Jeff leaves behind his loving wife, Jamie Lynne Lurwick (Kirkpatrick), his son, Tyler James Lurwick, and his devoted canine companion, Clover. Siblings Donna Trigg (Raymond Trigg) and Jennifer Goodwin (Luann Papeo). He is also survived by his nephew and godson, Seth Goodwin, his nieces, Madison and Mackenzie Beals, and his mother-in-law, Christine Kirkpatrick (Ridpath).
Friends and family are invited to his Viewing, Wednesday, June 16, 2021, 9:30am Covenant United Methodist Church 212 W. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to his Funeral Service 11:00am in the Church. Burial Private. Donations can be made to the ASPCA.
