Jeannine Maria Patterson "Nu Nu" 72, of Aston Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by loved ones on Thursday November 27, 2025.
Jeannine was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania On August 16, 1953 to the late Joseph A. Patterson and Anne M. Patterson (McCauley). Jeannine attended both St. Maria Goretti and West Catholic High Schools where she was a member of the orchestra.
She was a devoted stay at home mother until 1995, when she decided to pursue a career caring for the eldery, as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. This was her passion.
In 2002 she continued her education in nursing, graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Delaware County Technical School Practical Nursing Program in 2004.
From there she continued working at Fair Acres as a Charge Nurse until she retired in 2014. Working with the eldery was her calling. It brought her the utmost happiness. She was a lover of music and instruments. She played the Flute and Piano. And in her later years she was teaching herself to play the Violin.
Most recently her favorite activities were helping her oldest grandson learn the Trumpet and Trombone. And playing video games with him. She loved to be so involved with what her grandsons were interested in.
She was a devout Catholic. Her Rosarys were always in her hands. She prayed everyday.
Jeannine is survived by her heartbroken daughter Bridgid (Jeremiah) Shaffer, Grandsons, David Richard, Joseph William and Matthew James.
