Jean K. Neill, 85, of Woodlyn, PA passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026.
Jean was the daughter of the late Claude and Helen (Barrett) Reifsnyder and was born in Philadelphia, PA. She was raised in Darby, PA in BVM parish. She attended Archbishop Prendergast high school and graduated in 1960 as the first full graduating class. She met the love of her life on July 4 th down in Villas, NJ at a dance at St. Raymond’s and went on to get married in 1960. They were married for over 51 years before his passing in May of 2012. They lived and raised their family in Morton, PA. She was a homemaker raising her three children and later on she was employed with Clover department store in Morton, PA for 11 years and was a head cashier. She was a softball coach and president for Kedron Youth Association. She was a lifetime Philadelphia Eagles fan with Tommy McDonald being her favorite player. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan with Carlos Ruiz as her favorite player. Christmas was her favorite and most anticipated time of the year. She loved the decorations, Hallmark movies, and loved being around her grandchildren.
Jean cherished being with family above all. She was always so welcoming and made everyone feel so loved. She gave the best hugs and always had a smile. Her cooking and baking was excellent with recipes loved by all.
Jean had her faith and was strongly devoted to the Blessed Mother. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for 55 years.
Beloved wife of the late William T. Neill, Jr.; Loving Mother of William T. Neill, III (Marie), Sharon Lynn Simpson (Frankie), Robert C. Neill (Rachael); Cherished Mom-Mom and Gigi to her 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Helen Reifsnyder. She is predeceased by her brother Richard Reifsnyder (Dorothy).
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Friday, June 19, 2026 10:00am Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Court, Morton, PA 19070 and to her Funeral Mass 11:00am in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
