Jay H. "Sonny" Strauss

Jay H. "Sonny" Strauss, 56 of Langhorne, PA passed away on June 10, 2020. Sonny was born Feb. 28, 1964 in Secane, PA to the late Corrine "Babe" Strauss-Heller and Jack "Jay" Strauss. He lived most of his life in Delaware County working at his family business City Wide Trash and Landfill. Later in life he made Penndel, PA his home working at City Wide Roofing. He was destined to work at companies named City Wide.

Sonny was a free spirit with a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. He loved riding his Harley and enjoyed living life to its fullest. He had a huge heart and was extremely loyal especially to those he loved most. he was very social and enjoyed meeting people he could talk to anyone about anything because he was sincere. He had a magical affect that drew people to him. Sonny loved spending time with family and friends, after leaving you can bet he cleaned, fixed or organized something. If anyone needed him he would be there without a doubt. You knew that you could always count on him. 

Sonny is survived by his beloved sister, Ava Strauss McKee, brothers; Brian and Michael Heller and many nieces, nephews and a grand niece. He is also survived by friends whom he considered family, Dawn DiPierro, Bill Hitchner and his brother from another mother and his wife, John and Corinne Ritzheimer.

Private Services will be held at a future time with his closest friends and family.
