James Eugene Pasquay Jr. passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was truly a force of life and happiness. He was always wearing a smile and made everyone feel welcome. Throughout his life, he touched countless people, just as they touched him in return. He was a devoted son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
Jim was born on August 7, 1944, to the late Mary Roach Pasquay and James E. Pasquay Sr. He grew up in Kensington, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Frankford High School in 1962. While there, he played football as a single-wing center and also played baseball. Jim continued playing baseball as a catcher for the Jasper AC team.
On a summer day in 1967, Jim met the love of his life, Anna Marie Gallagher. The two were married just six months later on September 23, 1967, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love and devotion. Jim and Anne moved to Briarcliffe and raised two sons, Kevin and Timothy. Jim coached Briarcliffe Father & Sons baseball and basketball teams, as well as St. Joe’s football. He loved the neighborhood and was always there to help anyone when needed. He was truly a neighborhood father.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anne; his son, Kevin S. Pasquay; his brother, Kevin M. Pasquay (Peggy); his brother-in-law, Carroll Graham (Mary); and his beloved grandchildren, Riley, Giana, Silvana, and James Pasquay. He is also survived by his nephew Jamie Graham (Jeanine) and niece Katie Graham (Sean Harris).
Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Mary; his father, James; his sister, Mary; and his son, Timothy.
Jim loved the simple things in life: laughter, happiness, and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed watching all sports, living in Wildwood, winters in Florida, live music, cold beer, and a good cigar. Jim would always welcome you with a smile, a handshake and a hug, and ask how you were doing. He loved so many people and was genuinely interested in everything they were doing.
To everyone who was part of his life—thank you for sharing in the wonderful years he gave us and for adding so much to his journey.
Hon, Brother, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Jim, Jim, Jimmy, Mr. P—we love you, we will miss you dearly, and we will carry your memory with us always.
