James P. "Mac" McEvoy, Jr.

James Patrick McEvoy, Jr, 65, of Coatesville, PA passed away peacefully at home on July 28. Jimmy “Mac” McEvoy was the son of  the late Helen and James McEvoy of Springfield. Jimmy graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School and recently retired from the Laborers Union of Philadelphia. Mac enjoyed spending time with his family on his boat in North East Maryland, watching re-runs of Andy Griffith and Perry Mason with his grandson Nolan, and always enjoyed a nice glass of red wine and a cigar.

Mac was the beloved husband of Clare, loving father to Kathryn, Billy (Megan), and Jimmy; cherished grandfather of Nolan and Willow. He is also survived by sister and brother in law, Maryanne and Vincent Frustillo, and brother and sister in law, Pat and Maureen McEvoy and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Sat. Aug. 1, 2020 9:30am Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to his Funeral Mass Sat. 10:30am in the Church. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
