Irene C. “Rene” Myers

Irene C. "Rene" Myers, 70, of McVeytown, PA died suddenly on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at her home. 

Rene was born May 3, 1952 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Ruth (Friedman) Hagner . She was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening. Rene also had fun reading tarot cards for family and friends.

Rene is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey R. Myers Sr., whom she married March 20, 1993. She was the devoted mother of five children, Billy A. Sampson and wife Mara of Broomall, Patty A. Sampson and companion Andrew Smith of Secane, Jeffrey R. Myers Jr. of McVeytown, John H. Myers of Delaware County, and Elyssa A. Myers of Lewistown; loving sister of Ruthann Hagner of North Carolina and James Hagner of California; cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her four brothers:  Lawrence, Stephen, Michael, and Joseph Hagner.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Saturday, June 25, 2022 10am-12pm O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064. Burial private.
