Cannavo, Immaculata ‘Mae’ (nee DiTeodore) 89, of Margate, NJ, passed away January 29, 2021 peacefully at home with her family by her side.

She went on to join her beloved husband of 41 years Joseph J. Cannavo. Mae was Born in Philadelphia, Pa and Graduated from Hallahan Catholic Girls High School. Throughout life, she enjoyed family movie night on Sundays, summer vacations to various places with her family to expand their horizons and experience new things together, family solving crossword puzzles, loved decorating the house for holidays and making delicious holiday dinners for the big family gatherings, arts and crafts, painting as a creative outlet, nurturing her house plants, bowling team, long walks on the boardwalk to breathe in the fresh air and relax, getting dressed up and going to see a show at the casino, and taking long scenic drives with her husband Joe, who was the love of her life & also her soul mate. She was an Active member of Holy Trinity Parish. Was affiliated with the Lioness Club of Ventnor-Margate and also the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America where she made and retained life-long friendships. She was a very loving, caring, compassionate, generous, and charismatic person, who always looked for the silver-lining in people.
