Georgeanne Nelson

Georgeanne Nelson, 70 of Springfield, PA passed away on March 30, 2022. Devoted sister of Carolyn Nelson and Marybeth (The late Richard) Hawkins. Cherished aunt of Brian (Krysta) and Beth Hawkins.

Georgeanne was a great sister, aunt and friend. There were very few things in life she loved more than the Phillies. Georgeanne’s hobbies included traveling, especially to Disney World and Phillies Spring Training, rehashing old memories of her days working at The Navy Yard, watching Law and Order, and collecting souvenirs and trinkets from places she had visited. She will be remembered for her witty jokes, ability to put together a puzzle like nobody’s business and her mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Thursday April 7, 2022 9:30am Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church.
