He graduated from Interboro High School and went on to study Accounting to receive his Bachelors from Widener University and Masters from Strayer University.

A Freemason, he was a Trustee of the Lansdowne Lodge No. 711, established in Lansdowne, PA in 1921. George cared deeply for his community expressed in his dedication as a public servant canvassing, polling, and volunteering for the Republican Party, notably Nancy Regan’s “Just Say No to Drugs” campaign. He was an elected committee member for the Borough of Lansdowne, serving on Borough Council and for a decade beginning in 1993 as Tax Collector. In 1990 he established his own small tax business in Lansdowne, Your Tax Pro, at one time a chain throughout Delaware County, the Pocono Mountains and Leigh Valley. His loyal client base is a testament to his caring, attentive nature towards helping others. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and pets. He loved nature including; hiking, hunting, camping, & taking trips with his Airstream. His hobbies as a collector included coin and stamp collecting. His inner artist shone through from early childhood to adulthood building model train sets. Above all things George was a Beatles fan.
