Genevieve M. (Degnan) Smalley

Genevieve M. (Degnan) Smalley, 93, of Hoschton, GA and previously of Springfield and Aldan, PA passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024

Genevieve was the daughter of the late John and Caroline Degnan and was born in Chester, PA. She graduated from Chester High School in 1950. She was a member of and actively involved in Saint Joseph's Parish. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Beloved wife of the late John R. Smalley; Loving Mother of children Michael & wife Judy Smalley, and Richard & wife Karen Smalley; Cherished Grandmother to Lisa & husband Travis Duff, Lauren Jones, Devin & husband Jim Meehl & Ryan Smalley.  Great grandmother to Haley Millsaps, Billy Meehl, Maggie Meehl, & Colsen Jones. She is survived by her sister-in-law Rosemarie DiOrio and many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her uncles John & Peter Melnick, and cousin Ann Korenkiewicz, and long term tenant Alan Rodgers.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Saturday, December 7, 2024, 9:15am at St. Kevin’s Catholic Church,  200 W. Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00am.. Interment at Lawn Croft Cemetery, 100 West Ridge Road, Linwood, PA.
