Frederick E. "Fritz" Ciccone

Frederick "Fritz" Emmet Ciccone, 82, of Havertown, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on August 12, 2025.

Fritz was the son of the late Emmet Frederick Ciccone and Catherine Barbara (Menne) Ciccone and was born in Philadelphia, PA at Nazareth Hospital May 6, 1943. Fritz graduated from St. Joseph's Prep and went on to receive his BS from St. Joseph's College, a Masters from Temple and Law degree from Duquesne University, Class of 1973. He was a member of the American Association for Justice, past member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Fritz owned a successful law firm and worked up until his passing.

Loving Father to Gabrielle Mae Ciccone. Beloved former husband of Cheryl (Schmalmaack) Ciccone. Fritz is also survived by his brothers Carl (wife Carrie) and Quentin Ciccone. He is predeceased by his parents and sister, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Bishop. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and more.

Fritz spent his childhood summers in Sea Isle City with his family. He continued to visit Sea Isle City and Avalon for many decades as an adult. He loved watersports and hosting cruises or fishing tournaments on his boat. Fritz loved to entertain  both at home and at the shore. He adored watching Gabrielle ride in horse shows and would travel with her everywhere. Fritz was a force of nature, very passionate and social. He cherished his family and friends dearly. Fritz will be sorely missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Friday, August 22, 2025 10am O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to his Funeral Services 11:00am in the Funeral Home. Burial private at a later date.
