Frank Gorgone

Frank Gorgone, 75, of Springfield, PA passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025.

Frank was the son of the late Salvatore and Esther (Finelli) Gorgone and was born in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from West Catholic High School.

He was a member of the Springfield Township Planning Commission, Judge of Elections and founder of Tri County Umpire Group. You could always find Frank at the local Wawa for his morning coffee or at various baseball fields. He also enjoyed playing men’s softball, coaching youth football, or dining at one of his favorite local restaurants. Most of all, he enjoyed being “Pop Pop” spending time with his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of Patricia (Mooney) Gorgone; Loving Father of Salvatore (“Sam”) Gorgone, Christina (Steve) Guthan and Dennis (Marlise) Gorgone; Cherished Grandfather to six Grandchildren, Adrianna, Stephen, Maverick, Ramsey, Maelie and Evelyn. He is predeceased by his sister Anne Marie(Gorgone) Becker who passed on before him. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and more.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 6pm and Wednesday, September 10, 2025 10am at O'Leary Funeral Home 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 .Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday. September 10, 2025 at 11:00AM in the Funeral Home. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
