Frank T. Langill, 85 of Lansdowne, PA passed away at home on April 11, 2026.
Frank was raised in Drexel Hill. He was a mechanic in Local 5 of the Elevator Constructors Union in Philadelphia, and later worked as an elevator inspector. He was proud to have served in the US Navy.
He loved spending time with his wife Marilyn at their summer home at the Jersey shore. Frank was loving, generous, and would do anything for anyone. He was an avid reader and Phillies fan. He looked forward to Sunday diners with his family which he insisted on preparing even in later years.
Beloved husband of 55 years to his predeceased wife Marilyn. Loving father to Christopher Langill, Scott Shaw and Gail Wagner (John). He was predeceased by his brother Billy Langill (Judy) and is survived by sisters Eileen Berky (Ken), Anne Fetter (Andy). He has three granddaughters and eight great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Saturday, April 18, 2026 11:00am O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to his Funeral Service 12:00 in the Funeral Home. Int. Private.
We often referred to him as St Francis of Assisi because of his love for animals.
