Tom (Eugene Thomas Lever, III) age 78, originally of Springfield, PA, passed away peacefully on September 12, his birthday, in Shrewsbury, PA where he lived since 2009.
Tom was the son of (the late) Eugene Lever and Gertrude (Rebok) Lever and was born in Bryn Mawr. He graduated from Springfield High School and Keystone School of Business. Tom worked as a foot messenger delivering packages and documents for Philadelphia deliveries, using SEPTA and also sometimes traveling by train to New York City. He retired after more than 40 years. He was a member of Holy Cross Parish and an active Artisan member. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan and enthusiastically attended games.
Survived by his siblings Kathryn Lever and Robert Lever (Carole). He is also survived by nephew, Jonathan Lever (Monesha) and niece, Jessica Lever, two grandnieces and many loving cousins who always looked out for him.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service Tuesday, September 21, 2021 12:00PM St Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064.
