Elaine C. (Reilley) Quaile

Elaine Quaile (nee Reilley), 89, of Briarcliffe, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2022.

Elaine was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Reilley. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Quaile, with whom she spent 62 years. Loving mother to Chuck (LeeAnne), John (Kathy), Bill (Kelli), Trisha (Tom) Farrell, Michael (Claudette), and Scott (Kristy). Cherished Grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was born and raised in South Philly. She moved to Briarcliffe after marriage and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish for 65 years. She helped out at the parish by sewing for all the nuns. Elaine was well known in the neighborhood as a seamstress and made hundreds of dresses, including wedding gowns, for family friends and neighbors. Elaine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially up the mountains. She loved watching the Mummer's Parade surrounded by family and food on New Year's Day.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Friday, April 8, 2022 9:00am St. Madeline's Church, 110 Park Street, Ridley Park, PA 19078 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
