Elaine K. Brightbill, 98, of Delaware County passed away peacefully on August 30, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.
Elaine was the daughter of the late Jospeh and Emilie Rettig and was born in Philadelphia. She graduated from Notre Dame High School.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband, playing mah-jongg, reading, watching Phillies games, Golden Girls and Game Shows along with spending time with her 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Beloved wife of the late Herbert C Brightbill Jr; Loving Mother to Janet McCourt (Thomas), Sandy Johnson (Bruce) and Kim Toldero (Mark); Grandmother to Michael, Brian, Jennifer, David Sr, Amy, Matthew, Christopher and Alicia; Great Grandmother to Benjamin, Trinity, David Jr, Kaylie, Dominic, Emma, Maverick, Evelyn and Luca.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023 9:30am, St. Madeline Church, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am, in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send a donation in her memory to a charity of your choice.
