Obituary

Edward B. Dougherty, 70, formerly of Clifton Heights passed away peacefully at Riddle Memorial Hospital on September 8, 2023, with his family by his side.

Ed was the son of the late Edward B. Dougherty Sr. and Bessie “Betty” Bauerle of Clifton Heights, PA. He graduated from Clifton Heights High School, class of 1970, and went on to lead a successful career as an electrician. Later in his career he was employed by Leefson Tool and Die Co. of Folcroft PA. He was a member of St. Eugene Parish, where he attended grade school as a child.

Ed is survived by his sons, Brian E. Dougherty (Brittany), Kevin A. Dougherty (Julie), grandchildren Jackson, Dylan, Finnegan, and former wife Elaine Dougherty. He is predeceased by his father, mother and sister Patricia.

There will be a private service for immediate family only. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Mike Rowe Works Foundation.
