With deep love and profound sadness, the family of Doreen P. Grafstrom (née Naughton) announces her passing on March 17, 2026. Doreen left this world surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy defined by devotion, strength, and boundless support for her family.
Born into the lively Naughton family, Doreen was the second oldest of ten children to John F. and Anne Naughton of Upper Darby, PA. She cherished her role as a sister and throughout her life maintained close, enduring bonds with her siblings, who will forever remember her strength, humor, and willingness to support those she loved.
Doreen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James, who passed away in 2011. Together they built a strong family rooted in strength, resilience, and love. She is succeeded in life by her four children, who were her greatest pride: James (Mari) Grafstrom, Christina (John) Fabry, Kevin (Brenda) Grafstrom, and Andrew (Brittany) Grafstrom. Doreen’s joy grew even deeper with the arrival of her twelve grandchildren, each of whom has held an incredibly special place in her heart. Her guidance, laughter, and loving affection will remain with them always.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Wednesday, March 25, 2026 9:30am St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave. Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass Wednesday 11:00am in the Church. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
May her soul rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved James, and may her memory forever be a blessing to all who knew her.
