Donna Marie (Pellegrino) Fritz, 71, of Secane, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on June 14, 2026.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Donna was the beloved daughter of the late Michael and Caroline (Ogden) Pellegrino. A proud graduate of Sharon Hill High School, she was the devoted wife of the late John W. Fritz, with whom she shared many loving years of marriage.
Above all else, Donna was a devoted mother and beloved MomMom whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Nothing brought her more happiness than being with her grandchildren and watching them grow. She will be remembered for her deep Catholic faith, her strength, kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around her.
Donna dedicated 38 years of service to UPS, where she built many lasting friendships and was known for her strong work ethic and caring nature. She cherished family gatherings, celebrated life’s special moments with those she loved, and enjoyed making memories through travel. She especially loved spending time in Cape May and Wildwood, where countless treasured memories were made over the years. Disney World also held a special place in her heart. It was one of her favorite destinations, beginning with her honeymoon and continuing throughout her life as she shared that joy with her children and grandchildren.
Donna had a servant’s heart and was always there when someone needed help. Her home was always open to family and friends, and she never hesitated to offer support, encouragement, or a helping hand to those she loved.
For nearly a decade, Donna lived with metastatic breast cancer with remarkable courage, grace, and faith. While cancer became part of her story, it never defined her. She faced every challenge with determination and an unwavering love for her family. Her strength, resilience, and optimism were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Donna was blessed with the lifelong friendship of Helen Hatch, her dearest friend for many years, whose love, companionship, and steadfast support remained a constant throughout her life. Helen stood by Donna through life’s joys and challenges and remained by her side until the very end.
Donna is survived by her loving children, Jennifer Fritz and her companion, Keith Molinaro, and Brian Fritz and his wife, Amanda. She was the cherished MomMom of Brady Mossor, Ana Mossor, Wesley Fritz, and Bennett Fritz.
She is also survived by her siblings, Joan McLaughlin and her husband, Pat; Frank Pellegrino and his wife, Joan; Larry Pellegrino; David Pellegrino and his wife, Domenica; Michael Pellegrino and his wife, Joanne; and George Pellegrino and his wife, Jackie; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and extended family members whose lives she touched throughout the years.
In addition to her husband, John, Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Caroline Pellegrino.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive, Secane, PA 19018, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
A faithful Catholic throughout her life, Donna found strength and comfort in her faith, which sustained her through both life’s joys and challenges.
The family would like to thank the many friends, family members, caregivers, medical professionals, and hospice staff who provided love, support, and compassionate care throughout Donna’s journey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Unite for HER, an organization that was especially meaningful to Donna throughout her cancer journey.
