Donald R. Sundstrom, Sr.

Donald R. Sundstrom, Sr., 90, of Lansdowne, PA passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025.

Donald was the son of the late Roy and Mary (Whalen) Sundstrom and was born in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from West Catholic High School where he met his future wife and sweetheart Patricia Anne Quinn.

He was a long-time member of Saint Charles Borromeo Church in Drexel Hill.  In his younger years, Don was involved in youth sports and was active in both the Lansdowne Boys and Girls Clubs.  He also was a proud sixty-year member of Steamfitters Local 420. He was referred to as “Pop” by both family and friends and never met a dog he didn’t like, 

Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Quinn) Sundstrom; Devoted Father of Timothy (Carina) Sundstrom, Donald (Linda) Sundstrom, Jr. and Patricia (Michael) Ianovale; Cherished Grandfather of Don III, Erin, Kristin, Kelley, Michael, Caitlyn, Timothy and Emily and great grandfather of Joseph, Harper, Quinn, Max, CeCe and Delaney. He is predeceased by his relatives who passed before him. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and more.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Thursday, August 14, 2025 10:00am O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to his Funeral Service 11:00am in the Funeral Home. Int. Private.
