Clara 'Claire' M. (Bailey) Vile

Clara M. “Claire” (nee: Bailey) Vile, 86 of Secane, PA passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021. Claire was the daughter of the late Linwell and Florence (Severa) Bailey. She was the devoted wife of the late Leroy Vile and sister of the late Florence Diehl.

Claire was a caring person who truly loved showing appreciation to her friends, many of them her true family. She and her late husband Le, loved traveling with friends either bus trips or a cruise. Claire shared her talent of crocheting, friends were lucky to receive beautiful warm blankets, scarfs and kitchen hand towels all crocheted with care. Claire showed gratitude to her doctors’ offices with gift baskets for every holiday. She was a longtime member of the West End Ladies Auxiliary both in Chester and Essington.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Monday, Jan. 18, 2021 11am Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Dr. Secane, PA 19018. Int. private. Donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Charity of the Donors Choice.
