Catherine “Cathy” (Quirk) Snapp

Catherine "Cathy" Snapp of Rising Sun, MD passed away peacefully on Dec. 25, 2020 at home with her husband, children and grandchildren by her side. 
 

Cathy was the daughter of the late John Quirk and Joan Quirk (nee McGee). She was raised in Darby and graduated from Darby Colwyn High School. Cathy was a certified nursing assistant since the age of 17, and touched many lives in her career. She then met her husband Bill who she was with for 40 years and raised 3 children together in Southwest Philly until 2001 when they moved to Rising Sun, MD.

Cathy truly was one of a kind. A motorcycle Mama, who enjoyed riding on the back of her husband's motorcycle and taking trips with her family and friends. She also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, sisters, friends and her beloved dog Odin. She is missed so very much. Cathy was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis a few years ago and fought very hard till the end. She is now reunited with her son Hunter and parents in the kingdom of Heaven. 

Beloved wife of Clarence "Bill" Snapp. Loving mother of Cathy (Jack), BJ, the late Hunter. Step mom to Chrissy, Grandmother to Chelsea, Breanna, Jade, Michael G., Sean, Kailyn, Michael S., McKenna. Sister to Joan (Rick), Rosemary (Raz). Aunt to Rick (Michelle), Melissa, Jim (Zoe), Amanda, Hannah, Mark and Jon also many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, friends and her beloved dog, Odin. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Saturday February 13, 2021 11am O'Leary Funeral Home 640 E. Springfield Rd Springfield, PA  19064 and to her Funeral Service Saturday 12pm in the Funeral Home. Burial private.
