Catherine Mele Obituary
Catherine E. Mele of Springfield passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024.
Catherine was the daughter of the late Julia Ann & Harry Stevenson and was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Little Flower High School.
She was a member of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish. She was devoted to her family and especially her pups! Was a loyal Philadelphia Sports fan and loved her Phillies and Eagles. Also, enjoyed spending summer days at the Springfield Swim Club, visiting Ocean City, New Jersey and the Alpaca Punny Farm, DE. Known for her amazing Christmas Cookie displays, Labor Day Crab Fests, and loved playing pinochle.
Loving Mother to the late, Paul and Peter P. Mele; Cherished Grandmother to Peter and Raymond Mele. Also survived by Daughter-in-Law, Rosemary Mele. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and was a mom-mom to many.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Tuesday, May 14, 2024 9:30am St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Contributions to www.headstrong.org & Help_the_Animals@outlook.com
