Catherine P. “Cass” “Katie” (Lafferty) Daly

Catherine “Cass” “Katie” (Lafferty) Daly, 89, of Ridley Park, PA passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024.

Catherine was the daughter of the late Dennis and Anna (Neeson) Lafferty and was born in Philadelphia, PA. She was a proud graduate of West Catholic High School. A former parishioner of Saint Charles Borromeo, Drexel Hill, where she was married in April 1959. She then lived for many years in Cork, Ireland, where she raised a family and worked with her husband in their auto repair business. Throughout her life, she was known for her love of dancing and listening to Irish music. She loved to chat to people and share a laugh or lend a listening ear when needed. Her legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. 

Beloved wife of the late Jerry; Loving Mother of Kevin Daly and Ann Marie (Brendan) Bradley; Cherished Grandmother to Deirdre, Brendan, Stephen and Kieran. Survived by brother James (Maryann). She is predeceased by her twin sons Dennis and James, her brothers Dennis, and Frank, sister Theresa (Coughlan), her nephew Jim and niece Amy. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and more.

We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, watching over us all with love. She will be forever remembered and dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Tuesday, August 27, 2024 9:30am St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Ave. Drexel Hill, PA 19026 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
