Beverly M. (McCormick) Scarani

Beverly M (McCormick) Scarani, 89, of Springfield, PA passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026.

Beverly was the daughter of the late Rr. Adm. James R. McCormick and Grace (Dowell) McCormick and was born in San Francisco, CA. She graduated from Notre Dame de Namur High School in Villanova, PA and attended Immaculata University.

She was a devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Springfield, PA. Over the years she taught Religious Education, was a Eucharist Minister and a faithful member of a faith sharing group. She went on many religious pilgrimages both here in the United States and all around the world. Beverly sold antiques and antique jewelry at the Chadds Ford Antique mall for many years. She loved to travel and made many trips to Mexico and Guatemala where she started buying handcrafted items and clothing and eventually opened Galleria Maya, a retail store in Swarthmore, PA where she sold these items. She then opened a second store, Poco Loco a women's clothing and accessory boutique, also in Swarthmore until she retired in 2021. She loved going to the casino, doing scratch off lottery tickets, shopping, but especially loved the beach and spent many years vacationing in Ocean City, NJ with her family.

Beloved wife of the late Jean A Scarani; Loving Mother to Cynthia Azzarano (Michael), David Scarani (Karen), Michael Scarani (Judith), Stacy Redden (Jack); Cherished Grandmother to Stephanie, Kristen (Joshua), Alexandra (Robert), Schuyler (Richard), Erin (Luke), Andrew (Lexie), Sydney (Justian), Jacob, Stephen (Kate), Nicole, John, Chelsea and Dylan; and Great Grandmother to Jackson, Aria, Colton, Katarina, Vincent and Gabriel. She is predeceased by her son Peter Scarani (Jennifer) and grandson-in-law Eric.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday, March 10,2026 9:30am St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass 11:00 am in the Church.
