Betty Lou (Knipe) Gallagher

Betty Lou (Knipe) Gallagher, 82, of Drexel Hill, PA passed away suddenly on November 16, 2023.
 
Betty Lou was the daughter of the late Wilmer S. and Mary (Smith) Knipe and was born in Abington, PA. She graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School. She was a bookkeeper and office manager for Hellyer Lewis Smith interior design firm in Philadelphia. She enjoyed baking, gardening, knitting, caring for her grandchildren, and spending each summer in the Wildwoods for over fifty years. A master seamstress, Betty Lou loved to sew and was known throughout the community for her work. 

Beloved wife of Joseph P. Gallagher; Devoted Mother of Regina (Eric) Kramer and the late Andrew T. Gallagher; Cherished Grandmother of Christopher G. and Joseph A. Kramer. Also survived by her sister, Gayle (Henry) Sutrynowicz. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday, November 22, 2023 9:30am St. Andrew Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, and to her Funeral Mass, Wednesday 10:30am in the Church.
