Betty L. (Yarnall) Misciagna

Betty Louise Misciagna (nee Yarnall), 82, of Lititz, PA, formerly of Springfield, PA, entered eternal rest on December 31, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Betty was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Ralph and Ester Yarnall on August 21, 1939. Betty graduated from John Bartram High School in 1957, where she enjoyed playing on the girls Basketball team. An avid dancer, Betty spent many days after school waiting in line to appear on the “American Bandstand” show. She was married in 1959 to the love of her life, Albert Misciagna, and they shared 62 wonderful years together. Betty and Albert met as teenagers (15 & 16) while attending a dance at a local Church.

Loving mother of 7 children, Jean Furst (Bruce), Martin Misciagna (Libby), Albert Misciagna, David Misciagna (Suzanne), Matt Misciagna (Cathy), Elizabeth Miller (Cory), and Danielle Misciagna; Grandmother to 21; Andrew, Daniel, Ryan, Sean, Mark, Michael, Thomas, Robert, Grace, Rachel, Rose, Brandon, Megan, Dominic, Delia, Timothy, Angela, Eric, Brian, Alison and Emily. Great-Grandmother to 3; Colin, Miles, Lilly (and one on the way). Predeceased in death by both parents and siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Thursday, January 20, 2022 10am St Francis of Assisi, 136 Saxer Ave. Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass 11am in the Church. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.

My Baby Betty Lou:

I have a little daughter,

her name is Betty Lou,

I’d love to see her sit down,

and take off her shoe.

She is the youngest of my four,

A darling little tot,

but she simply will refuse

to use her pretty little pot.

She says, ‘Oh Mamma Dear, I

’m much a baby yet,

forgive me please if all at once,

you’ll find me soaken wet’.

She has blonde hair and a dark brown eyes,

She has a cute smile and seldom cries.

What mother wouldn’t be proud of a baby like her.

She sleeps like a kitten with a contented purr.
