Barbara M. (Houlihan) Sweeney

Barbara M. (nee Houlihan) Sweeney, age 91, of Glenolden, PA passed away peacefully on August 4, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Sweeney, loving mother of Maureen E. (Tom) Lambrix, Joseph P. (Bunny) Sweeney, Colleen A. (Bill) Glisson, Barbara (the late Hugo) Rendina and John D. (Jennifer) Sweeney.  Mom-Mom to 14 grandchildren and GiGi to 19 great grandchildren, also survived by her brother Robert (Elizabeth) Houlihan and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Monday evening August 7, 2023 from 7-9 pm, O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:15 am Our Lady of Fatima Church, South Ave., Secane, PA, Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requested donations in Barbara memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
