Barbara E. (Quinn) Briglia

Barbara E. (nee: Quinn) Briglia, 84, of Springfield, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 27, 2025.

Barbara was born on October 9, 1940 to the late Joseph and Marie (nee: Lougherty) Quinn. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she lived the majority of her life in Delaware County, PA. 

Barbara was a devout Catholic who was strong in her faith. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She was an active member of Holy Cross Bible Study. She loved animals of all kinds. She enjoyed spending time at the shore with her family, gardening, playing cards and Cookie Crush. She made the best pizzelles in all of Pennsylvania. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Phillies and Eagles. Anyone who truly knew her,  knew how much she loved the Mummers. 

Barbara’s greatest love was her family. She was a loving mother to seven children, Michael (Anita), Mark, Joe (Kelly), Denise (Andrew), Doureen, Dawn (Joe), Barbara (Dan). Cherished Mommom to Brett, Matthew, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Robert, Alex, Dominique, Jessica, Casey, Daniel, Annie, Joseph, Lauren, Jacqueline, Stephen, John, and Abby - adored GG to Joshua, Madison, Cole, Jacob, Makaela, Andrew, Jackson, Giada, Violet, Charlotte, Cole, Carter, Robert, Henry, and Graham.

She is survived by her brother, Joseph Quinn (Nancy) and her sister-in-law, Mary Quinn (Bill). Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Marie Quinn, her step-father, Carl Sperr, her brother, Bill Quinn, and her sister, Joanne Petta, and step-sisters, Helen Sperr (Sr. Marie Antoinette, LSP) and Carol Hain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who she deeply loved. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Saturday, October 4, 2025 9am Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
