Anne Nicholls Obituary

Anne Nicholls passed away peacefully in her home on September 8, 2021.

Another member of the greatest generation has gone from us to be with the Lord. She will remain in our hearts forever.

Anne was raised during the Depression to Emma and John Brenton. Anne was faced with numerous obstacles and managed to become a proud member of the United States Navy, serving in World War II.

Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren respect and honor her tenacity and perseverance. The values she taught them will forever be engraved in them. Once her children were raised, Anne opened her heart and home to her grandchildren. She was a wonderful grandmother who always went above and beyond to provide a haven for them. Her home was one of the great holiday memories, numerous sleep overs, and birthday parties.

Leaving behind to cherish her memory are her children, Bill (Mandi), Ed (Stacey), Janet (Barry). Her grandchildren, Kristen, Kenny, Kim, Charley and Tommy. Her great grandchildren, Fisher, Marlee, Gracey and Talia. Also, her siblings, John Brenton and Joan Bennett.

The family would like to extend our appreciation to "Caring Hospice" for their kindness, compassion and thoughtful care the provided to our mother. They were truly amazing!

Services will be held at a later date.
