Anna L. (DiBaptiste) Ward

Anna L. (DiBaptiste) Ward, 88,  of Swarthmore, PA passed away peacefully on January 29, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Anna was the daughter of the late Martin and Judith (Ettore) DiBaptistis and was born and raised in West Philadelphia, PA where she married her beloved husband of 61 years at Our Lady of Angels Church.  They moved to Southwest Philadelphia where they happily raised their four children.  She thoroughly enjoyed her time working at St. Vincent’s Catholic Home for Children.  She enjoyed shopping, and watching the Phillies and the Eagles. She was an excellent cook and truly loved  taking care of others. She especially enjoyed spending time with the love of her life Pumpkin and her family.  

Beloved wife of Frank; Loving Mother of Frank (Carol) III, John (Kimberly), Michael (Maureen) and Peggy (James Cantando) Ward; Cherished Grandmother of Danny, Johnny (Kayla) , Adriana , Nicole, Michael and Katie and great grandmother of Raelynn. She is predeceased by ten siblings, Marie, Angela, Agena, Louis, Thelma, Antoinette, Nelda, Sylvia, Joseph, and Theresa.  As well as, cherished niece and nephews, Joan Taulane, Edward Roccia, and Martin Griffith.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Friday February 3, 2023 10am, O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Service, 11am in the Funeral Home. Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
