Anna E. Fanucchi, 97, of Springfield passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025.
Anna was the daughter of (the late) Giacomo Zappacosta and (the late) Annunciata Bello Zappacosta and was born in Philadelphia. She graduated from St. Agatha's Elementary School and Overbrook High School. She worked at TastyKake and an advertising agency but spent most of her life as a homemaker.
She enjoyed volunteering at her daughter's school as a library aide, teacher's aide and homeroom mother. In her later years she was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help "55 and Over Seniors Club". She enjoyed spending time with her family and also baking biscotti and homemade pizza.
Beloved wife of the late James Fanucchi; Loving Mother to Nancy Fanucchi. Also survived by her sister, Rose Marino and sisters-in-law, Bruna Harris and Barbara (Dave) Rehrmann. She is predeceased by her brothers, Andrew and Carmen and by her sister, Josephine. She is also survived by 3 nephews, 5 nieces and 1 cousin.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Saturday February 22, 2025 10:00am Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave. Morton, PA 19070 and to her Funeral Mass 11:00am, in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
