Anna J. (Strohm) Crawford, 87, of Media, PA passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024.
Anna was the daughter of the late Lafayette and Marie (Pangbourne) Strohm and was born in Philadelphia, PA.
Best known for her willingness to laugh with you know who about whatchamacallit. She chose joy over despair when times were tough and was a listening ear to those in need. Her acts of kindness were felt by many, and she will be greatly missed.
Anna was also an avid Roller Derby and Flyers fan and had a strong passion for the team, as a Philly fan should. She loved the tv show I Love Lucy, Abet and Costello and all the John Wayne movies.
What brought her most joy is when she would organize a grand family gathering. Family members would join in a family picnic on her lake side backyard home in Lehighton Pa. Everyone would come, as she would be at her happiest seeing all the smiling family face’s.
Anna leaves behind her husband of 70 plus years Vincent, who adored her and cared for her in her final years and days, never leaving her side. We will always remember her blue eyes and beautiful smile that brightened rooms, and she will live on in our memories.
Beloved wife of Vincent Crawford; Devoted mother of William (Donna) Crawford, Vincent Crawford, Michael Crawford, and the late Annamarie Phillips; Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is predeceased by her brother, Albert Strohm. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Friday, January 3, 2025 10:00am O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Service 11:00am, in the Funeral Home. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
