Alice (McBride) Buhler

Alice Buhler, 89, of Clifton Heights, PA, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2021.

Alice was the daughter of the late Francis J. McBride and Margaret Tanzola McBride of Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Hallahan High School.

She was a member St. Eugene’s Parish for over 60 years. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, great children, and spending time with them at the Jersey shore.  She loved to read, watch gameshows, especially Jeopardy, and enjoyed watching the Phillies.  She also looked forward to the NCAA basketball tournament every year.

Beloved wife of the late William J. Buhler; loving Mother of Michael Buhler (Anne), Susan Loro (Vince), William Buhler (Debbie), Maryalice Byrne (Patrick) and the late Stephen Buhler; Cherished Grandmother to Christopher, Ryan, Timothy, Alicia, Alex, Jillian, Olivia, Brandon, Wil, Madeline, Holly and Haley. Great grandmother to 14 grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings, Francis J. McBride, Kathryn Salvitti, William McBride. She is predeceased by her brother, Robert Gillespie. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and more. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Wednesday, September 8, 2021, 11am St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA  19064 and to her Funeral Mass 12pm in the Church. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
