Adelia R. “Dolly” (Wynn) Kordowski, 76, of Essington passed away on May 22, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of Tinicum Township and spent her life rooted in the community she loved.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Stanley Kordowski of Essington; her brother and sister-in-law, Myron and Terri Lyman of Las Vegas, Nevada; her sister and brother-in-law, Crystal and David Quinzani of Hughesville, Maryland; her stepdaughter, Iva Agent of Longwood, Florida; 13 nieces and nephews; several cousins and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth E. (Wynn) Lyman; her sister, Darlene R. Fanty; her brother, Earle C. Lyman, Jr.; and her stepson, Thomas Kordowski.
Dolly worked in several roles throughout her life, each reflecting her dedication to helping others and her strong work ethic. She served as a home health aide, providing care and comfort to those in need and later joined Bradlee’s and then Wawa, where she was known for her friendly presence and reliability. Deeply connected to Tinicum Township, Dolly was active in the community and took pride in being part of the place she called home for more than seven decades. Her favorite pastimes were fishing, reading and knitting/crafting. She will be remembered for her kindness, her steady spirit and her lifelong commitment to the people around her.
There will be no visitation or services at this time. Services will be scheduled at a later date and will be announced. Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choosing.
