In Loving Memory of Adegboyega Ishola Opaleye

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Adegboyega Ishola Opaleye, who peacefully transitioned to glory on February 10, 2025, at the age of 81.

Adegboyega was born to the late Koleade and Egbewunmi Opaleye in Olori Opaleye Village. He pursued his education at Ahmadiyya College, Agege, before advancing to Technical College, Ibadan, and later Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, where he honed his skills in civil engineering.

A man of deep faith, he was a devoted member of Molete Baptist Church, Challenge, Ibadan. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing soccer and table tennis, passions that brought him joy throughout his life.

He was the beloved husband of Janet Opaleye and a loving father to Taiwo, Kehinde, Idowu, Alaba, and Oluwaseun. He was also a cherished grandfather to Ayomide, Anjolaoluwa, Ayodele, Ayodeji, Oluwafisayo, Modesireoluwa, Oluwafisola, Abiola, and Adeoluwa. Adegboyega is survived by his sister, Sabalimot, and is reunited in eternity with his predeceased siblings, Seliat, Akanji, and Dauda. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever cherish his memory.

Family, friends, and well-wishers are invited to pay their respects at his Viewing on Saturday, March 15, at 12:30 p.m. at O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064. This will be followed by his Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at the same location. Interment will take place immediately after at Eden Cemetery, 1434 Springfield Rd, Collingdale, PA 19023.

Adegboyega Ishola Opaleye will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
