William Allen Davis, Affectionately known as “Sonny”
Born in Statesboro, GA on February 10, 1940, he was a proud member of the United States Military (US Army July 59-Jan 60, US Marine Corps Feb 60-Jun 68). A true patriot, his civilian accomplishments included electronics Defense contracting and print master. He had fond memories as bartender at a Philadelphia center city watering hole, The Grogg Shop, which was frequented after home Flyers games by members of the Broad Street Bullies.
Sonny mastered many hobbies, but his favorites were railroads/trains and gas model cars.
He loved his friends and neighbors who brought him great joy! He would never leave the neighborhood because of them.
He is survived by daughter Angela, son William and two granddaughters, Patricia and Graci. He will surely be missed.
Daddy, you are loved and will be missed by many!
See ya again and rest in God’s glory!
