Raymond A. Angelucci July 31, 1943-October 11, 2019

On Friday, October 11 Raymond A. Angelucci loving husband, father and grand father passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 76.
Ray was born in West Philadelphia to the late Alexander and Gioviana Angelucci. In his younger years he resided in Upper Darby and attended St Alice's Monsignor Bonner High School and St Joseph’s University. Ray served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for the State of Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture as a weights and measures inspector. Ray served as an usher for St Eugene’s in Primos and St Simon and Jude in West Chester. He enjoyed his retirement years spending time with his wife, family, grandchildren and making new friends in Lewes DE.
 
Ray had a passion for all things football, especially his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. He was also an avid movie fan and connoisseur. Westerns and old cowboy films were his favorite. His greatest love was for his wife, family and grandchildren. A love which knew no boundaries and encompassed no short comings.  Among his friends Ray was known for his quick dry wit, an infectious smile, and unprecedented kind and compassionate spirit. He truly encompassed a person that tried to live Christ’s image 
 
Raymond was preceded in death by his sisters Laura (Angelucci) Ritter, Anna Maria Angelucci and many close uncles, aunts and cousins. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Phyllis L. (LoSasso) Angelucci; children, James A. Angelucci, Rachelle M. (Sean) Kennedy; grandchildren, Gianna, Angelina, Isabella, and Gabriella Kennedy. Brother, Albert Angelucci, and Brother-in-law, James P. LoSasso
 
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Friday October 18, 2019 10:00am St. Simon & Jude Church, 6 Cavanaugh Ct. West Chester, Pa and to his Funeral Mass Friday 12pm in the Church. Int Private.
